Aim

To create in San Martin a supplying source of grains at competitive prices and an agro industrial production center for the Region.

To increase the productivity of culture at international levels, of cultivated hectares in owned lands, rented or belonging to agreements.

Performed Actions

• Purchase of lands in Buenos Aires zone.
• Culture trials (corn, soy, sorghum) in an extension of 140 hectares.
• Agreements with Universidad Nacional de San Martin, in the zone of Puerto Rico.
• Identification of lands in large extensions.
• Delimitation of 1200 hectares to be awarded.
• Installation of technical irrigation equipment.
• Increase of farming border in the zone of Buenos Aires.
• Cooperation Agreements were signed with the Instituto Nacional de Investigación Agraria INIA and the Universidad Nacional de San Martin.
• Trial of culture of rice in the zone of Puerto Rico.

Actions in Process

• Agreement with the UNSM to work 2,000 hectares in the Biavo.
• Award of 7,000 hectares in Shanusi zone.
